Attractions
This rural area just outside Wichita offers many local interests. The Augusta Historical Museum features Augusta’s pioneering beginnings. Visit the C.N. James Log Cabin that was built just after the civil war with hand-hewn cottonwood logs. Augusta is also home to the first movie house to be entirely lit by neon. Lastly, do not forget to visit the Kansas Museum of Military History.
